enter < b > then the text. To end the bold text, enter < /b >.
To make text Underlined
enter < u > then the text. To end the underlined text, enter < /u >.
To make text Italic
enter < i > then the text. To end the italic text, enter < /i >.
These tags may be used in any combination to create a desired effect. Here are all three tags used to create bold, italic, underlined text.
Finally, centering text or other items...
<center> begins centering things.
</center> stops centering things.
Assignment
Open up your file called index.htm.
Save it as "format.htm" (File, Save as...).
Add text on any subject you wish and use all the tags listed above.
Save the file.
Look at it using both browsers to make sure it works.
